Amazing vendor. Very honest, and have amazing tech. We were in difficult situation where our lennox has proprietary system and our thermstat went out. But he made simple and just easy to be out of that lennox dependency. Will use them again in the future with their annual maintenance

One Season Heating and Air Conditioning was fantastic from start to finish. We have two HVAC systems at our home, and one of them hasn’t been operating. Aubrey came out and helped diagnose the issue thoroughly—there’s a leak somewhere in the refrigerant line, and with refrigerant costs being so high, we were worried this would turn into an expensive “quick fix.” Instead, Aubrey took his time, explained what he was seeing, and came up with a really thoughtful solution. I had a replacement A/C installed today. I would give One Season 6 stars, if I could. They were the best of 6 bidders I had. Aubrey had worked with me tirelessly to find a solution for my very difficult space constrains. He and Mike were also super patient while working out the "legalize" of the contract, which I was insisting on. And finally, they both as well as Josh and Ben have done a superb job replacing a condenser and a coil today. Everything was done meticulously, all my questions answered, every step of the process explained. All 4 were were nice and extremely professional. The work areas and the house front were left clean. I highly recommend this company for anyone's heating or A/C work.

Our Turtle Rock home was built in the 1970s and the system is 25 years old. Should we repair it again or replace it?

At 20 to 30 years old, most furnaces and air conditioners are past the point where repairs make sense. Parts get scarce and efficiency is poor. In Broadmoor, Highlands, and Glen homes we usually recommend replacing the furnace and AC together as one matched system, and that is the most common job we do in 92603. We will tell you honestly if a repair still makes sense for yours.

Can you replace the ductwork in a Turtle Rock attic?

Yes, and in homes from the late 1960s and 1970s it is often the smartest money you can spend. Original duct runs were sized for smaller equipment, and decades of attic heat wear them out. On hillside lots the attic space can be tight, so we redesign the layout rather than copy the old one. New ducts let the rest of the system finally do its job.

Our two-story home has one thermostat and the upstairs is always hot. Can that be fixed?

Yes. That is a zoning retrofit, and it is a common project in older Turtle Rock two-story homes that were built with a single downstairs thermostat. We split the house into zones with motorized dampers and a thermostat for each floor. Upstairs and downstairs then heat and cool independently.

Our Quail Hill home still has its original builder system from the early 2000s. How much longer will it last?

Quail Hill was built between 2001 and 2006, so original equipment there is now 20 or more years old, which is the far end of normal life. When it goes, that is the moment to step up to a high-efficiency system and add dual-zone control if one thermostat has been running the whole house. Until then, maintenance is what buys you time.
