One Season Heating & Air-conditioning Are former SoCal Air Flow Pro's from Chad the Owner To Aubrey a lead Tech, Rebecca ( Office Manager) & Sydney (Customer Service) always exceeding my high expectations. Rebecca the office manager was super responsive to my requests/ questions. She never dismissed any of my extra concerns, and even made sure that they were addressed to my utmost satisfaction. Sydney in Customer Service possesses professionalism and a great interpersonal skill set which IMO - a true asset for the One Season Team Tysm Rebecca & Sydney ! Aubrey the lead technician is very experienced and skilled. He showed up during the time range provided to me, and called beforehand to provide me with an ETA. He even put on booties when entering my house! Also, I find the entire One Season Team to be trustworthy. They never tried to upsell or fear monger like Triton or Goettle who used their Acquisition of SoCal Air Flow Pro's to gain entry into my home to try and sell me plumbing and inspection services (Customer Beware!). I schedule for a HVAC check up and they send me a plumber who states the HVAC associate will call in a few days and bever did! One Season is a unicorn in today's service business: exceptional and skilled employees, honesty and fair pricing that does not prey on homeowners at their moment of vulnerability. The One Season Heating and Air Conditioning is truly amazing! My wife and I had originally set an appointment to conduct a tune up on our system for the season. To our surprise the system which was originally installed a year prior wasn’t installed properly. Aubrey educated us on the things that were done wrong and how the system should’ve properly been installed. My wife and I decided to have the entire system in the house done properly. The crew came the next day and pulled the job in a few hours time! Now our system works the way it should, and our electric bill has gone down as well. Good Questions, Straight Answers

My Woodbridge home still has its original ductwork. Should it be replaced along with the next system?

If the ducts went in during the community's 1976 to 1985 buildout, they are past their design life. Old runs leak air, lose insulation value, and can choke a brand new system down to old-system performance. We test the ductwork first, so you only replace what actually needs replacing.

Why do upstairs bedrooms run hot in Woodbridge two-story homes?

Most two-story plans from this era were built with return openings that are small by today's standards, and often too few of them. Warm air pools upstairs with no easy path back to the system. Adding return air, rebalancing the ducts, or retrofitting zoning usually solves it without replacing the equipment.

Our house is already on its second or third system. What should we do differently this time?

By the second or third changeout, the equipment is usually not the weak link, the ductwork and sizing are. We measure the home instead of copying whatever size was there before, because a like-for-like swap carries a 1970s guess forward for another 15 years. Ducts, returns, and attic insulation all deserve a look before new equipment goes in.

Can an older Woodbridge two-story be zoned so each floor has its own thermostat?

Yes. Zoning is a common retrofit in community homes where one system serves both floors. Motorized dampers in the ductwork and a second thermostat let each floor call for heating or cooling on its own. It pairs naturally with a system replacement, but healthy existing equipment can often be zoned too.

How much maintenance does a 40-year-old community home really need?

More than a newer one, and it pays off. Older systems drift out of tune faster, and small problems in aging equipment tend to stay quiet until the first heat wave finds them.
